Holland Park

On our first visit to Holland Park, we could hear a loud cawing of a bird.  However, we could not
see where the bird was. Two women approached us on a path and asked us where they
could find the peacocks. Of course, we had no idea. Later we came across a beautiful peacock with
his tail spread open.  No showy displays today but we were still delighted to see these special
birds.  There were two of them.  One of them went over the fence and disappeared. But the two birds
continued to call to each other.

Tucked into a corner of this very British park and forest is a small Japanese park.  It is
called the Kyoto park.  It has a peaceful feeling about it, along with the very organized
layout of a Japanese garden.

We tried to catch the charm of the curved street but the sun was too bright.

A plant growing out of a brick wall along a lane leading to the park.

After the walking in the park, we walked to the large indoor mall.  It is called
Westfield just as the mall in University Town Center is in San Diego.
