Obstacle course

I missed the obstacle course some how.  Fortunately, Dad had a camera to capture the maze created by three girls before it was taken apart.

I will miss the laughter of these four girls when they are gone.

The rough exterior and the gloss nacre interior.

This mussel was caught in a bunch of seaweed.  I have never seen one as large as this at the beach before.
Nacre (/ˈnkər/ NAY-kər also /ˈnækrə/ NAK-rə),[1] also known as mother of pearl, is an organic-inorganic composite material produced by some molluscs as an inner shell layer; it also makes up the outer coating of pearls. It is strong, resilient, and iridescent.

When the girls went with us to the beach, all of these rocks on the other side of the larger ones were underwater and could not be seen.
