Leaving the beach yesterday we saw a man climbing this tall tree so that he could trim it.  He was attached by lines both to the tree behind him and to some safety devices on the tree itself.  When he reached the "canopy" he immediately started sawing off old and damaged leaves. 

This is the village by La Jolla Shores.  But this is not my Mclaren.  We took the picture and then discovered that someone behind me was taking one too.
