Window Shopping in Leipzig

Antiques

These likenesses of Queen Elizabeth II are solar activated.
Each of these small queens is waving.

The Pylones store in Leipzig is full of fun and sometimes useful objects including the solar powered flowers and queens.

The Easter candy display was set up while we shopped and browsed in a grocery store.

This is a huge market place where the old town hall is located.  Under the platz is parking.  A glass elevator building stands to one side leading down to the parking.

This is one of the doorways into a huge shopping center across the street from the Marriott.

One of Germany's large department store chains

The Lego Simpsons costs 199 Euros (about $276 US)

This one was priced at about 149 Euros ($206.66 US)

The Professor and I always like to compare prices at the grocery store wherever we go.  In Leipiz the good buys were in products like shampoo and body lotion and tooth paste.

Another great find while we were out shopping
