Nikolaikirche
Walking back to our hotel after lunch we stopped at Nikolaikirche. It is an extraordinary building. The inside is white and the crowns of the pillars are green palms. It really is enough to take your breath away. After Rob and Andreas left us at our hotel, I decided to return to the church to listen to the choir that was practicing. It was well worth it. I was worried that I would be too late and that they would have finished their practice. However, I got to sit there for quite awhile as they continued to practice. You know how it is when you listen to a practice. You get to hear some songs all of the way through but others you hear only phrases that need more attention.
I failed miserably in trying to zoom in on the choir. All of my pictures are fuzzy. It was wonderful to sit and listen to them. They were singing a capella.
