Interesting art in Prague

So far I have not learned very much about this sculpture.  It is pretty scary though...even if it might not be meant to be.  You can see toes under the cloak but no face.  This one is outside the National Theatre in Prague.
This is at an intersection in the old city.  I could easily have walked under it and never noticed.  I think I was looking up for street names and saw him at the other end of the street.  The computer says this is supposed to be Freud.  He had a great fear of dying.  As you can see, he is depicted as being very casual about hanging around with one hand.  The other is in his pocket.

Interesting art.

Man Hanging Out; Stare Mesto, Prague

One of the pages online stated that people have made emergency calls wanting help for the poor man hanging from a pole.

"Artist David Cerny depicts Freud in this way to signify his constant struggle with fear of death.  Other interpretations suggest that the artist was personally challenging the status quo."
