Commander-in-Chief of the British Army 1901|1904. Indian Mutiny 1857|58, Umbeyla 1863, Abyssinia 1868, Eushai 1871|72, Afghanistan 1878|80, Burma 1886, South Africa 1900. Unveiled by The Duke of Connaught, 30.5.1924, the statue is located on Horse Guards Parade.
