The Play that Goes Wrong

We went to see a very funny comedy this afternoon.  It is great fun.  The sign outside said "Mousetrap meets Monty Python."  It is a very apt description. All of the cast is young and agile. The agile part is important because there is a lot of physical slap-stick humor.

As we were walking down the street some people stopped one of the actors by the stage door.  T shirt and jeans.  Looked just like a lot of the guys on the street.  No one would know he was from an award winning show.

The play started before the play began. I know that makes no sense, but about ten minutes before curtain time someone came to the area where we were sitting and asked if we had seen a dog.  A bit later another stage hand came looking for the same dog.  A stage hand asked someone from the audience to come on stage to hold something up while he got something to a tool to attach it to the wall.  Several other little incidents occured before the "play" actually began.  It was definitely a very funny show and the theatre was filled with laughter.
