Dinner in a community of 49



Kristi would have loved lunch with us today.  Indian food all of it vegetables and fruit.  Then tonight we had dinner with the "house."  Bok choy steamed but served cold.  And a fish casserole.  Dinner is served at 5 pm.  At 5:15 one of the faculty said, "This is the first time that all of the girls have finished dinner by 5:10."

And he was right.  They were gone ten minutes after the food was served.  The casserole would have been so much better if it had something besides fish and mussels floating in a white sauce.  I really could have used some potatoes and carrots.  And the bok choy could have used being served warm instead of cold.  


Oh well.  Only a few more meals.  The students go out to Oxford tomorrow so no dinner then and none on Saturday.  Just a few more chef cooked meals. 

Next Monday the students have to be gone.  Wednesday we will leave.  I can hardly believe we will be gone.  I will definitely miss walking in the parks.
