Jeffrey Lyn Earl passed away peacefully at his home in Provo, UT, surrounded by family on Wednesday November 2, 2016.
Jeff was born August 23, 1956 in Winslow, Washington to Joseph and Alice Earl. Jeff was the third of four siblings. A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jeff was sealed to his best friend and the love of his life, Cheri Sue Pray, in the LDS Salt Lake City Temple on August 23, 1979. He and Cheri are the parents of five children and the grandparents of eight grandchildren. Jeff's qualities of selflessness and compassion endeared him to everyone he met. He was also a talented craftsman and handyman, working with his hands to create many beautiful pieces of woodwork and spending countless hours serving those in need. All who knew him will miss his easy-going demeanor and happy chuckle.
Jeff was preceded in death by his oldest son, Michael Jeffrey Earl, and is survived by his wife, four children, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Edgemont South Stake Center, 350 East 2950 North, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the church Sunday, November 6, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. There will be no public visitation on Monday morning prior to services. Interment: East Lawn Memorial Hills.
