Railway Workers on Strike
joined later by the students who walked out of their "high school" classes
in sympathy.
The demonstration at the intersection where we are living WAS NOT the
primary rallying point.

Political advertising bus?

Getting more and more crowded as people get off the Metro and join
the demonstration.

Someone decided it would be a good idea to lights some flares.

After awhile the smoke dissipated.

Before inflating the balloon

When the balloon fell off the van.

SUD-Rail
a second union or société

All set to go just when the crowd is thinning.

Much as this man in the middle reminds me of the Professor on a cold day,
it is not he.  It is some one else.

Filling the balloon with air

We missed speeches from this truck...if there were any.
